As a child I didn’t have the money to upgrade my room with new pillows or furniture so I turned to the one free option: rearranging my existing furniture. To say I was obsessed would be an understatement. My mom would often come into my room on a weekend afternoon and find all of my belongings shoved into the center of my room and me throwing my entire body weight into moving my dresser across the floor. I was very inspired by the pages of Pottery Barn Teen (lol) and was always trying to recreate the unique layouts that they featured in their glossy (relatively unrealistic) pages.
